On Monday, July 15th 2024… Me and my family had to put down our eldest cat: Cleopatra. Cleo was old and was sick and just… her mentality was worsening along with her body. She was barely able to stand at all, her breathing was off, and she didn’t even seem to know where she was. This all following what seemed like some kind of seizure. According to the vet, she was depressed because of being ill, and her illness was most likely incurable.

Today, 2 days later, we have buried her. It feels sad, having to bury an old friend. May her memory live on, these are the last two pictures we have of her before… she passed on. As you can see, Cleo went out with a smile and a peaceful slumber. All loved her and she had no enemies… perhaps because Cleo was so kind and compassionate to everyone. The way she loved and cared for us, I feel comfortable saying she is just as much of a human as anybody you and I know.

So yeah, that’s it. Just wanted to mourn her so that she stays alive in the hearts of others.

Sad news my cat just died. The little fur ball have been with me since birth. He and me were inseperable. By that I mean he always bite me every chance's he get. Earning him the nickname "Biter"

Look at him without a care in the world.

When someone is opening the can of tuna.

But one day he just stopped eating. And becoming thinner and thinner. And you know the rest.

This is the last picture I took with him and his homie before he passed away in my room.

I just want to share this story with everyone. I know it doesn't really help. But it help me with the grieving process. So I hope he is up in heaven catching mices. Rest in peace my kitty thanks for all the good times.

i’m sure we’ll meet again one day. we’ll be ready to see each other again and say out loud how we really feel. we’ll share our deepest secrets and we’ll be ready to face our emotions. we’ll be ready to finally give ourselves the happy ending we deserve. yes, i’m sure, we’ll meet again in another life… and, honestly, i can’t wait.
